Dear readers, writers and friends! Summer is a great time to enjoy the sun and warmer weather, but it’s also the best time to relax and read more wonderful poems and short stories in some good literary magazine like “The Evening Universe.”
In our new issue, you will find magnificent poems and exciting short stories, as well as witty two-sentence stories with plot twists you won’t expect.
And, as always, I recommend non-fiction pieces we published in the issue. Especially since among them is “Why You Should Say Bad Things About Books” by the American award-winning writer David Walton, who, in my opinion, is one of the best modern sci-fi authors. By the way, let me encourage you to read David’s new awesome book “Deadly Memory.”
I hope that my own essay “Exploits in Our Simulated Reality” will be also interesting to our readers.
Happy reading!
Sincerely yours,
Maxim Sviridenkov,
founder and editor-in-chief of “The Evening Universe”
